Mountain House Dehydrated Food Cost Effective Camping/backpacking Food?

Cost effective camping/backpacking food? - mountain house dehydrated food

I need a few tips for camping / food bag.

You need some of these points:

-relatively cheap - compared to ready-to-lyophilized / camping food (such as Mountain House)
Leger - dehydrated, add water, a kind of food, etc.
High energy and calories
Health - not too many preservatives, artificial food dyes / compounds, saturated fatty acids, etc.
-It is in large supermarkets such as Asda, Tesco, etc., found
"You can do it in a backpack in the summer conditions to keep - do not go, red, slightly crushed

So far I've found that peanut butter and pancakes a good meal, that is the wind.

Instant dry foods such as Mark "Batchelors look" good, but contain MSG and other flavor enhancers.

I have several boxes of emergency rations standard seven seas, but are too heavy and boring in the taste of regular use.
